Instrument Cluster Problems
Okay earlier I posted about my oil pressure gauge not working. I have traced everything and found that my gauge in the cluster is bad itself. My truck is a 1994 F Super duty and my parts truck is a 1995 F150. I pulled the cluster from the 95 and installed it in my truck. When starting the truck my oil pressure gauge worked but not the (fuel, volt, or temp). I since the clusters are modular I pulled the oil and temp side and installed in into my new dash since my oil gauge would not work. With the oil being in my old dash I started the truck and observed that the gauge would read. I pulled the cluster back out and installed all of my working gauges into the new cluster. Now I have nothing!!!!
I can buy a used cluster at the local salvage yard for 75.00. I don't know to do this or does anyone else have any information that they can help provide before I bite the bullet tomorrow??
