You're welcome. Hows life in the great American Desert?

Doing okay here so far, still working on getting my VA benefit checks resumed. And had to put $820 on my credit cards to cover front and back brake jobs, as well as replace the power brake booster. That is going to take a bit to pay down, but at least I had the cards to put it on. Otherwise it would be parked and I would be hoofing it everywhere. My regular checks from SSDI have gone back up to normal.

Thanks Jim for starting the July thread.

Afternoon to both you & Greg. Just got home from Church.

My wife is getting better each day.

We took a nice ride yesterday to the Sierras then to Bishop. Lots of people out and about in both Bishop & Mammoth Lakes. It was in the hi 70s in Mammoth. That's one thing I like about living in Hawthorne is we are only 90 mies from Mammoth Lakes & Yosemite Nat Park.

Morning everyone.

Jim, glad to hear you were able to get the brakes fixed. Walking in this heat sucks.

Craig, good to hear she is mending quickly. I bet that was a beautiful ride.

Happy Monday Nevada FTE and friends. Hope everyone has a safe holiday tomorrow.

Yes indeed, I would be in a world of hurt without my car. Glad I was able to keep it running, or stopping in this case. LOL

Afternoon Greg & Jim.

Got a text from Donna. She hopes to be back with us soon.

Hot today about 100 degrees.

Have a safe 4th of July. We are staying home.

We stay home every year. Our dogs don't do well with fireworks.

Going to be over 100 here, I think they said 101, but that is still over a 100.

I will be taking the four older kids to a local fireworks spot tonight, so they can see them for the first time.

HAPPY JULY 4th.

Hot here today too. Around 100 degrees. There are fireworks here tonite. We should be able to see them from our place. Plan to sit on the porch and watch. At worst we will have to drive a few blocks.

Afternoon everyone. I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th.

I was up until about 4:30 with the dogs. Then I got up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. I am a tire sucka today.
My harness and ECU for the Cherokee arrived today. It looks to be in great shape! I hope to get it installed this weekend when I have a cooler morning to work on it.

We had a good 4th. Now we have to hunker down and bear the heat that is coming. In these summer months I wished I did not live in a valley...

Morning everyone.

Pat, good to see you again. I was beginning to feel our heat was too much for you.

I spent some time laying out the harness last night. I did find a couple discrepancies between them and a random 2 wire set without an end. They are not in a spot that I can see on the harness while it's in the vehicle. I guess I will figure it out upon removal. The is another section when mine has a complete disconnect that the new one doesn't. I believe it's for the front end lighting. Not a big deal but still interesting that one harness has it and the other doesn't when they are from the same year. Well if one connector end is all I have to fix on the new harness than I will be happy with it.

Morning Greg. No, I'm good with heat! Hopefully that harness swap goes okay, and you don't find any major hiccups that will keep you from getting it in right away.
