6 speed shifter boot

For those that have a torn shifter boot.... do yourself a favor!!!! Replace it now!!!

i could not believe the difference in the amount of noise. it is like night and day!!!

its hard for me to believe that the thin rubber boot can stop that much noise.

i am sooo happy

Isn't there some kind of insulation/padding on the underside of them??

I've started my truck once with a loose shifter boot. I don't know what they make that thing out of, but I wish I could line my whole cab with it.

Will do. I keep my windows crack to "drown" it out. My daughter likes to mess with me from time to time, and lift it up with her foot, all the while, she's looking away, smiling. She gets me everytime.

If your changing the shifter boot don't forget to check the boot on the transmission as well for splits. I had one split on me it got trany fluid on the piece under the shifter boot and made it break down too the point I Had to replace it.
