Overdrive question
What's it mean when the overdrive light is flashing? A couple days ago I noticed that the light didnt go on when I pressed the button. Also, I didnt feel OD disengage, and the rpm's didnt go up on the tach. It felt like I was in OD - engine wasnt running overly fast on the xpressway. Today I was driving to work & the light started flashing.
Replying to first response - when it sets a code, is it read the same as an engine code? In other words, can I get it read at Autozone? You guys helped me before to interpret and repair a problem when I posted the code. Hopefully this is something minor (yeah right!) that I can take care of myself.

Overdrive question
A flashing over drive light indicates your tranny has set a fault code. Not sure where to find the code definitions, but I suspect somebody on here will have the info you need.
