Since most of my threads are purpose driven (to find info or post progress), I figured I would start one off saying thank God this weekend was so nice I could enjoy the truck for a few days! Outside of some minor carb tuning, it has ran flawlessly.

I pulled it out Sunday morning and still have it out of the garage. I believe they are calling for rain tonight or tomorrow...so it gets stuffed away soon enough... I hope the cloudy thing on the weather forcast turns to a sunny thing...then I can leave it out tonight again and take it to work in the morning again. I went out on a two hour cruise the other day with it and loved every minute of it.

....ok....it can't all be fun and roses. On with business. With the new front end it drives, rides, and handles like a totally different truck. The removed leaf springs give it a very soft ride...almost too soft (but no bottoming out). It still wanders a little here and there, and on narrow rough back roads I am sure people get a little nervous...but it is much easier to control. I can't even describe how odd it feels to drive my truck with suspension. It feels like driving a Caddy compared to what it was.
