AOD Tranny
Good morning all,
I'm considering a transmission change in my 66 because as it is now it's just too low geared for the interstate.
So I'm looking for a Ford Automatic overdrive. I've already changed the rear end gears to a 373 gear set. With 27 inch tires.
Around town it's cool but on the interstate it just tachs too high.
So long story short I'm looking for a AOD Transmission. Would anyone here know where such a item can be found?

That will work good then. You could get a beefed up one Broad Performance out of Texas
make one that would probably work well for you for and they are around $1200 plus shipping and they will hold up in the truck.

Thanks dman, I've got it saved and will calling those folks directly.
If all goes well I'll be trying to sell my c4 tranny.
Perhaps someone here may want it or know of someone who dose.
