Summit Harmonic Damper ?

Yeah, I just installed this:
Summit Racing SUM-163289 - Summit Racing® OEM Harmonic Dampers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

3rd and probably last Summit part I'll buy. Bought a cap and rotor from them, it looked outstanding, thick plastic, great contacts, the rotor tip broke off after 50 miles.

Well, this damper came in and looked great at first, but it has these stupid little bushings for spacers for my crank pulley that I absolutely hate, it was a pain to install.
At first I loved the timing marks, until I realized out of all 3 sets, mine for the motor are at the rear of the damper and obstructed by my timing pointer.

I was excited to see that my old one was 5 degrees off, meaning I might have a better balanced, better timed engine now.. but the motor feels like the balance is off even more now.. not sure if I should blame the damper for that though, I was sorta expecting magic from having a new one.
