98 E-150 4.2
4.2 engine. Coolant was dissapearing and it was with a lot of misfires etc... I took the plenum and lower intake out and looks like the lower manifold gasket has a leak; or two!!! My question is; Do I have to have it check and clean by a local shop for angles and squareness or just drop the new gasket and new screws. Also, the torque for this is almost nothing. The TSB for the new thicker gasket donot mention anything about adding more torque. So, the 2 round still 89 in-lbs???
