I'm changing the fuel filters on my 06 F350 PSD. Bought fd-4616 at dealership. Pulled old primary filter. It looks different . New filter has o-ring on end bayonet fitting. End fitting is longer. Oldcfilter has no o-ring. On the oreily website, it lists to part #s fd 4604 and fd 4616 for my make and model year.

dont install any fuel filter but the fd4616.i take care of a fleet of trucks and have seen so many other brands be distorted and twisted or colapsed.i havnt once yet seen a ford filter do that.i had a fram and wix filter rep at my shop and they could give me a answer why there filters where doing that.they said its either a fitment issue or there stopped up.havnt seen a filter that looks brand new colapse like ive seen like the aftermarket filters.just my 2 cents
