Trans Question
So i recently had the truck down for a week getting the FICM replaced, i now have it back in and have been driving it for 2 days....one thing i have noticed since i started driving it is somtime on slow acceleration from a stop the trans area sounds like a big fan or somthing to that effect noise coming from it....is this normal as i have never noticed it before? reminds me of when a Big rig is taking off and what it sounds like....I know the FICM probably has nothing to do with it but i didnt have that noise before i got it fixed. Thanks for any help!

That just sounds like the engine cooling fan to me. If I sit at a light, truck well warmed up, on a hot day, A/C running, as I pull away I will hear the cooling fan. It winds down quickly because it sees the truck is moving. But that fan was running at the stop light to keep air flowing over the stack.
