i'm rebuilding the 5.0 that i'm dropping in to my 88 bII. I bought a phenolic spacer to go between the upper/lower intakes, if for no other reason, to add clearance for taller valve covers (rollers). i bought the spacer used, and need some advice on whether to use gaskets with it. half the people i ask say yes, don't risk a major vacuum leak, while the other half say not needed with the phenolic material. ???
by the way, how do i add a picture to my name?
