Vacuum tree

Is there such a thing as a vacuum tree for my '89 5.0 EFI upper intake that has seven branches instead of mine which has six?? I want to move the pcv line to the vacuum tree instead of it's current location on the back of the upper plenum. I was also thinking I could tap a new vacuum nipple in too but not sure what the plenum looks like on the inside and I don't want to drill in the wrong place. Has anybody done this?

Thanks
Randy

What's the matter with the factory PCV location? Even if it broke off, that'd be the place to drill & tap for a pipe nipple. Running it to the vacuum tree wouldn't give enough flow & might oil up some of the other vacuum lines.

I dont know if this is the poster's reason, but the stock location dumps all crankcase ventilation into the #8 cylinder. This is said to cause higher temps I believe in that cylinder, possibly burning a hole in the piston or burning the valve. I know I had a burned valve this past spring in that cylinder, and after much research came to the conclusion that the pcv was to blame. I still have not had time to move it, but i'm not even sure i will, it made it 160,000 mi. on the first set of heads, and I doubt i'll have the truck for another 160,000 or so.
