If it's going to be s show truck and you will never use it, then you are wide open with what you can do, it will never be on the road and inspected correct? If you are going to leave it on the road and use it, and have lots of money, I would check into a stroker kit for the engine. You need a longer stroke for useable truck power, that's what the 351w gives you(longer stroke). There are some other guys on here that may be able to help you with your computer options with a stroker motor, possibly a mass-air conversion? I am not sure about that.

the money thing is one issue i can build a engine just one step at a time and i do want to retain some sort of driveability i even have the thought of doin some crazy 300 jus for the coolness factor and im really leaning towards tossing the c6 for a 5 speed or try and go crazy and find a 6 speed
