I was testing my trailer lights with my 96 f150 and at first everything worked except the pass side turn signal of trailer. Then I got my 12v test light and tried to see if I could get it to blink in one of the holes on the harness.Anyway maybe I shouldnt have done that because now I only have running lights,no brake light or turn signals. The alligator clip was on the ground of the harness and when I touched one the holes it sparked(test light didnt light up),after that only running lights.I was looking in my Haynes manual at the wiring diagram and it shows fuses located under the hood.Did I just blow a fuse? The truck lights all work though, just only running light power to harness.BTW it got dark and I havent looked under hood yet.
Yep that s what it was, couldnt wait till tomorrow, got a drop light and popped the hood and found 2 blown 5 amp fuses. To anyone who doesnt have a Haynes manual yet,GET ONE.I was about to rip that harness apart looking for burnt wires.
