So this problem started some time back. I finally had figured out that my power windows only worked when the driver side door was open. this lead me to believe that there was a short/grounded out when the door was shut or almost shut Recently I took the door panel off and looked at the loom of wires going thru and could find none that were broken or missing insulation.
Next I decided to take the stop off that keeps the door from opening to far, although there were no wires hooked up to this I thought I could open the door further for working on it. After I unbolted the 2 bolts that hold it on to the truck the windows did not work at all. Thought maybe it was loosing a ground so I put the two bolts back in and still the windows did not work if the door was shut or open
I have checked the blue power wire coming into the switch and still have power and if I test continuity on the ground tab on the switch and the door I get a good connection. So I think I have good power and ground.
Ted Is there a window lock out switch ( to keep kids from playing w/ the windows). I dont have a crew cab but on my wife's Pilot there is one. If so could this switch be going bad- keeping the other windows from working?
This might sound nuts but did your radio not work with that powerwindow problem?? Why I ask is mine did it again just recently, but with all the windows not working. My problem seems to be in the fuse box somewhere because when I push in the fuses in more the windows work. Might be caused by these wonderful roads we have with all the bumping around, just a guess.

I do have the lockout switch and I guess it could have gone bad since I took the panel off. I may look for a way to wire around it for testing

The radio does work, hopefully it will stay working.
