Unexplainable noise
Just took my newly bought 2001 X out for a camping trip over the weekend and noticed a noise while xcelerating. It sounds like an air leak and it only does it at low xcelerating speed. If you just mash on the gas from a dead stop then it doesn't do it. Its loud so I think it is under the truck.
My wife is the daily driver so its hard for me to troubleshoot.
Any ideas???

I am hearing this on my 2000 x. Its kind of a hissing around 1800 rpm and if you accelerate it goes away. There is another thread that just went up with the same thing from the way it sounds. I guess I will tag along on this one too.
