recalibration?

recalibration?

do i need to recalibrate my truck since i put the 6"lift and 36" tires? Where can i get it done at?

Yup. Youre going to be driving alot faster than you think you are. I know Ford dealerships can do this. I also think <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">Hypertech</a> modules have that option to, but dont quote me. You may also be able to do it yourself (I know it can be done on some older broncos). You might also want to post this in the forum for which you truck pertains.

recalibration?

If you have a 92-96 truck or bronco, you can do it yourself. There is a "how-to" in the Tech Articles section, dated 12/20/01, I think.

do it yourself...its easy.....it took me five minutes.

the dealer said they recalied it and it was right. I will find out tomorrow when i pick it up. Thanks for the info

If it's for your super duty, I didnt think the dealer could recal over a 35" tire, and that was even tough.

I know super lit has the truespeed, which a lot of guys run and like. Allows you to adust to what ever tire size you run and I beleive it has two settings you can switch back and fort incase you run winter and summer <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=37919709&siteid=39251846">tires </a>
