Fan belt

I lost the fan belt on my f3 this afternoon and could not find it. I must have been close to home so luckily it didn't get hot on me. I looked in a couple of books I have but can not find a listing for the size I need, it's the V8. I would like to know the lenght before I go looking for one. Thanks

Just take a cord or thin rope and place it around the pullys were the belt would go and measure and mark the length. Then take this in to your local parts store and match it to the belt that you need.

Call NAPA, they'll know the stock length.

NAPA on-line is excellent, but not always right. It says the wide belt for the generator/WPs is 36", and the fan belt is 38". I don't think that's right? I think these are the lengths for the dual narrow belts.
