I recently purchased a 1969 F100 shortbed with inline six. The truck sits low on passenger side about one inch. Measured from fender well to the ground. New to trucks so would like help on what to look for to correct this.
Start off by measuring from the frame to the ground on both sides. This will tell you if it's the springs (if the frame is crooked) or the body mounts (if the frame is level).
A big problem with these trucks is the body mounts rusting out, so slide underneath and take a look at the mounts to see if they're rusted out or if the rubber bushings have deteriorated.
