was plannin to do that today, i was just curious why there aint much diffence in the high/low beams..there used to be quit a difference in my high and low but not now.
if the switch shorts out internally, it will not make any difference what the position the switch is in.
The dimmer switch in my truck has a mind of its own....90% of the time, I have highbeams only....And if I switch to the dim side, the highs stay on, and the Highbeam light stays on....
BUT
Sometimes, it'll allow me to change from High/Low....I don't get it...W-T-F

mine were working fine when i parked it bout a week ago..as i did the 94 front end swap and not the high beam lights stuck on and there not much difference in the hi/lo so idk if messed something up but i did nothing that delt with the headlights..
It's due to the swap, the 91 down uses a 9004, the 92 up uses a 9007. You need to swap the pins around inside the plug to match the new bulb. What is happening is you are applying power to what is supposed to be the ground pin on the bulb, it then backfeeds thru the other filament and causes the indicator to light up and the bulbs to be wonky in brightness. The easiest way is to get ahold of a truck with 9007 bulbs in it (either a 92-96 F series or Explorer will work) and use a test light to identify which one is hot low beam and hot high beam, and then make note of which/where they are in the plug. Then using the test light, identify the same ones on your current plug and them swap them into the corresponding position from your notes on the other plug.
