Flatbed Installation

I just bought a 1976 Ford F150 Ranger and the bed is in not very good shape. After looking on numerous websites, I have not been able to find information about installing a wood flatbed on my pickup. Any suggestions on where I could look up this information or buy a kit/pattern. Thanks.

You can build one for around 300 or so depending on the quality of wood used......if you\boyfriend\husband can drill\weld you can save alot of money.........fd

for my bed, i just measured the distance from the frame to the bed on our company truck, then made xmemebers that thickness. if your puttin a wooden bed on, just make some spacers that thickness, then you can build it flat from there....... don't build it level. the truck doesn't sit level.
