Here are the pictures of my truck and my set up. Truck is dirty, its getting dark out and I'm sure I have some other excuses as to why she doesnt look her best. One day I will take some out in the woods and give my old truck the pretty shots she deserves. Until, here is what I have:
I just pulled her into the shop to take work on a leaking heater hose I discovered so if you want pictures of explanation of anything I will be glad to take them while I'm here and playing with her.
Kodiak, what kind of Hp/Tq numbers do you think you are putting out??
MUD, I honestly dont have a clue on that one. I can tell you what I have done and maybe you or one of the engine guru's could answer that.

I know thats not much detail and not much to make numbers off of. I paid a guy in Arizona to rebuild my engine when I lived there and as he was a friend and professional I just didnt question what he did. He said how much he wanted to build me a good, solid running engine and I paid it. I could probably ask him what parts he used (cams, pistons and what have you) and get back to you later.
I had the trans rebuilt in AZ as well and beefed up as much as a C6 can be and she ran all the way from AZ to WA towing a trailer 65mph (except on the big hills).
In the future I have plans for a 460 and a ZF5. I have the donor truck already just it is my dads and he thinks he still needs it. So waiting him out then will make the swap.
I dont do any serious towing and I'm not a hot rodder. I just want to get there and get back. If I didnt love dentsides so much I would sell this and buy a newer truck to do what I need.
NBC-Steve - The VIN for my truck is F26HCEJ0400. Now I'm not sure if they swapped in a different transmission when they did the 460 or not but any information you can get would be great. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a truck before! I'm just in the process of hunting down a decent long box and then I can really start digging into this project.

Nice. Can we also see a picture of the engine compartment? I love the idea of using the truck’s tank for propane use off of the rig. Brilliant. What compression ratio are you running?
