1994 e-250 v-8
my van starts up fine..changed plugs,wires,cap..had a problem,that it would chugg while driving,almost like the whole engine stops running for a split second,got a old computer and changed it out,problem solved..now its back,is it something else that it could be? It also makes all these whining noises from,i think the ac unit, groans..strange...stops after warm up..any thoughts ,that i can try? Thanks Ken

What engine do you have? The 4.6L and 5.4L never used a cap or rotor and the 5.4L doesn't have plug wires.
The whining could be a tensioner pulley, idler pulley, alternator bearing, PS pump, it's hard to say right off.
