Getting ready to go pick up two trucks I bought. 95 F-250 , 99 F-250 - both 7.3

 

Are they running or just for parts?

 

Sometimes it'll drop just enough rain down onto the pavement to create steam........Kinda like tossing some water onto the hot rocks in a sauna....

Supposedly 50% chance of rain around here some time this evening......But mid 90s today, and high 60s overnight. We'll see.....

 

They have small issuses. The company I got them from went to fleet. This will be the forth truck I got from them. The first was a 99 F-250 4x4 Lariat S/D. I had to replace the plate between the motor and trans, $130.00 part. They thought the block was broke. $650.00 for the truck.
The second was 87 F-350 dump 6.9. Fixed air in fuel, glow plugs and other small stuff. $ 550.00 for the truck. It had not ran in two years.

 

Sounds like a good deal!

..ug....work day...good morning...too hot and too dry

 

Saw some clouds build off to the north yesterday afternoon & checked the radar. Looked like we wuz gonna' get a nice lil' shower, but danged if it didn't burn off for' it could get here.

Wound up having to drag the hose all over God's creation again. Really gettin old.

Same here. T-storms rolling in....got dark, windy....LOTS of lightning and thunder......a little light spit for about 10 minutes........then nothing.

 

it would be nice to see some clouds this watering the garden twice is getting old
