Front rotor removal
I want to remove the front rotors on my 78 f-150 in order to have them turned and to repack or replace the bearings. Is this a difficult job or anything I need to pay particular attention to? I have the factory manuals and am fairly mechanical but I don't want to screw anything up. Or is it just better to have someone else do it which I normally don't like to do but I have never taken a 4X4 rotor off before.

should be an easy thing to do. just folllow the manual it is prety straight forword. one thing you will need is a hub socket. you can get one at any autoparts store for less than 15 bucks. i remove the hubs and drums on my truck at least once a month to re pack the bearings and it only takes about an hour to get em off and back on not including the time to re pack the bearings.
