We seem to be in some very turbulent times in our weather…we have many members of FTE who have lost homes, businesses and their livelihood to water, many who are in extreme drought conditions and now we have fire ravaging the southwest.

Yesterday Los Alamos New Mexico (where I grew up and my family is) was evacuated .....18k people gone because of a fire that has grown 50 thousands acres in just 20 hours
…. It was just 11 years ago we lost 400 homes in Los Alamos to the Cerro Grande Fire that fire was only 48 thousand acres…it took a month to get that big….this Las Conchas Fire is extremely fast

.....Take a moment today and pray not just for fire victims but for all victims,….. During a very turbulent time in America with Mother Nature

Each day find something good in it.

Afternoon gentlemen, ran through a pretty good thunderstorm around Waldron this morning on my way to Mena. Hopefully some of the places south of there got some rain as well. On our way back we came up through Okie-land to pick up some of that $3.55; only to discover the station around the corner had dropped the price to $3.49

Yeah, certain things will surprises you just how tough they are. I know of a certain 1.8L powered Escort that had a harmonic balancer come loose & tear-up the key way on the crank. With a little brazing, filing, used balancer and new key...that dude was still running when we traded the car off.

We got some rain today! But I'm not yet sure if the supercrew has any hail damage or not. I was driving back home and got hit by dime sized hail. Nowhere to hide.

I wonder if your rain came from same storm we ran through and later watched more develop toward your area. Looked pretty impressive as far as cloud height goes.

Morning everyone. Last night was going good until I had a wheel stud go to spinning on me. Spent a good while digging around in the parts room & only found a stud that was to long but would still work. Made 3 phone calls to make sure I could cut it off (stud & nut) if I had to. Ended up getting the lugnut cherry red & hitting it with the impact to get it off. Got it back together, bay cleaned up & doing the paperwork when another truck rolls in needing a wheel seal on the trailer with 45 minutes until I go home.

Good news is I finally got seals for the 90* oil filter adapter yesterday & got it cleaned up good this morning then put back together. Now I gotta find time to pull my truck in the wash bay & hit the side of the motor cause of all the oil/grime.

Well guys I think my CPS bit the dust. Atleast I hope thats all it is.

I had it idling in park getting ready to move my camper to mow around it and it died as though you turned off the switch. When you crank it, it just turns over and doesn't try to fire, Tach just moves a little. What else could it likely be? fuel pump? ICP sensor? IDM?

It hasn't had the CPS recall done, just keep blowing it off when the letters show up so I guess I'll start there.

I pulled the codes and the only one I didn't expect was p1249 - Wastagate Fail Steady State Test

This didn't set the light though so I guess it's a soft code.
