guess my weight
just wondering if anybody wants to guess how much my 83 f100 std cab long bed <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">302 </a>aod weighs. i'm gonna get it weighed when i haul some rock next week. my gvwr is a whopping 4700 pounds. i've got a plastic toolbox on the bed and the spare tire is still under the bed. <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">tailgate</a> is on. it's 2 wheel drive with 31" <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=37919709&siteid=39251846">tires </a>stock steel wheels and gonna have less than 1/4 tank of gas in it. i'm guessing 4000.

guess my weight
my guess was within 30 pounds. 4030 pounds. my gvwr is 4700, so if i have a full tank of gas and 3 people in my truck, i have about a hundred pounds of payload capacity b4 i'm overloaded. so ,if i go by the gvwr, 3 people with a full tank of gas i can safely haul about 2 five gallon buckets of rock before i'm a hazard to the motoring public. with just me in the truck and a quarter tank of gas i have about 500 pounds of payload capacity. so i really have a 1/4 ton pickup. i drove home from the rock quarry with 1100 pounds of rock in the bed so i was 600 pounds overloaded! the truck was about 3 inches lower in the back loaded with over half ton of rock. i think im gonna go for a ton tomorrow.
