Help - 97 E40D

I have a 1997 F-250 7.9 350000 miles.
The driver I have in it said it wouldn't shift. The trans was rebuilt in June 10.
O/D light is flashing
Will not shift

I carried it back to the trans shop. They said the trans checks out good. They pulled the pan and nothing. They said they scanned it and no codes.
They also said it must be a broke wire or the computer.

Ford Stealer said it would cost about $600.00 to fix it.

Does anybody have any ideas. Thanks in advance for your time.

You can't test you can pull it to make sure the end of it is clean the sensor is pretty much a maginet. do you have a different truck you could swap it out with to see if it will shift
