I received my F250 last August. It's a CC XLT with the 6.5' box and has a 3.73 diff. I bought the truck specifically to pull our 31' 5900# travel trailer. Compared to the 1999 F150 that I previously drove, the F250 rides really nice and the captains chairs are supper comfy. Since August, I've put on about 6500 miles.
I've had a couple of issues with it since I bought it, such as a faulty canister valve, leaky power steering hose, and sub-par fuel economy. In an attempt to improve the fuel economy, I had the PCM recalibrated today. Hopefully I'll see an improvement.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that it's great that this forum exists so that we can share information.
Sam, in regards to your efforts to improve your mileage, post it on the 'real world mileage' folder. It's where I like to check out what people are reporting under various conditions. And welcome.
