key left in ignition chime
Ok I got a question for ya folks, im wanting to do somethin about my trucks current ignition chime, I want to make it either louder, buzz (like a semi) or both as i have people who are slight hard of hearing who from time to time need to use my truck (family members) and they kinda leave the key in the ignition and don't relize they did because they cant hear the bell ding thing, so where can i find the thing and change it or can i change it at all?
I know its some place near my ash tray center near the floor but I want to change the sound it makes if possible, any one have any ideas on what or how to do this?

Here's the buzz...
If you have not already located the chime it is under the dash up above the accelerator pedal. Look for a unit from 1980's models or later; probably focus on the older trucks - and cars - or the lower trim levels (Custom, XL, etc.) as they are more likely to have the buzzer as opposed to the chime version. Most of the buzz units will be white in color, smaller in size, and have the appearance of two dots with concentric disc shapes around them on one side of the unit.

whats the latest year I should "cap off" at? and how far back should I look? could I use parts from an 86 or earlier truck/car? any specific car make (ford) that we know had one at some time?
