79 lift

I am wanting to put a 4 inch lift on my 79 bronco, and was wanting some oppinions on which one is best. I would also like to know what you do or don't like about different brands.

Depends what youll be using the truck for. If you are gonna be offroading and rock crawling then extended radius arms are a must. You can get away without extended arms but you wont get as much articulation.

Your budget really determines what you'll get. But BroncoGraveyard has some great kits available.

I just use the bronco for hunting and a little running around no rock crawling mostly mud or snow

4 inch Ultra Deluxe Lift Kit, Black Bushings 1976-79 F150

I say this kit. Might as well do new leaf springs as you don't wanna deal with axle-wrap and be blowing U-joints every other day. (personal nightmare)

You don't sound like you need extended arms, you really don't need the brake lines extended either. I didnt have any issues with my driveshafts and I was lifted about 6-7" so this kit should be all you need except new rubber.

I'd check on the brake lines. Installed my 4" lift on the '78 on Sunday. My brake lines are SHOT!

Check yours before clicking "Check Out" on broncograveyard. You may need some new ones, too.

That kit comes with new brake lines. I meant he shouldn't need them as far as clearance wise.

On a side note, I def recommend replacing all the brake lines with the stainless steel kit from inline tube. Broncograveyard has it as well. I think it was about 200. Great quality, I got that on my 78
