Whats the actual problem?? If jelly got into the tank it would contaminate the fuel. I would guess it would wash down pretty quickly, so shouldn't cause any issues with filling. There might be a venting issue elsewhere though.

for my 100gallon i took a 1/2" hydraulic pinch fitting, drilled my tank on the flat back side of the front tank and on the flat neck side on the rear, ran 1/2" line to a ball valve each, come together in a T then with 1/2" pipe runs into the bottom bung of my tank. all 1/2". dont go smaller, and make sure you have a way to vent your in bed tank or it will never fill. it will quit flowing from the suction and take forever to get one "glug" of air from the line let alone enough to flow 37 gallons

See it didnt have problems filling before that happened, now i gotta take a 5 gallon gas tank and a funnel to it. When you start filling, after a 1/10th of a second the pump clicks off like its full, but its not...is there something inside the tube blocking fuel from getting in?

Drop the tank, or at least the filler tube, and clean it out. Maybe they stuffed something in there first like a rag that is blocking the flow. Though it could be a blocked vent keeping the air from escaping so the pump clicks off. Also a twisted or kinked filler hose might cause that.

If I remove the inner tube from my filler neck assembly, will that allow me to fill the tank in less than the 20 minutes it takes now? I'm always waiting for the damn foam to settle down.

Everyone that has taken it out has noted an improvement in filling. I don't have anything to base it on yet, as I pulled it out of the front tank when I replaced it, but the front tank had a leak when I bought the truck so I didn't get a chance to compare before and after. I've yet to do the rear tank, but will soon (because it rusted it now...grrr)
