Nothing sounds better than a flathead! Sounds like you have a bit of a cam also....even better!

WoW, Tinman, I'm impressed....
The story behind my motor (short story) is the crank was cracked, I lucked upon another flathead motor and when we pulled the crank out of that, it was a MERC, so now I've got a longer throw, so YES we hopped the cam a little to help it breathe.

And you got that from the "sound" ..... wOw....

And yeah, I got this grin......................

Flatheads have an exhaust sound like no other engine.....it's music to my ears. Add a little cam and they sound wicked! When I redo mine I will add a cam and hop it up a little.......
