In regards to replacement rubber for the C-series, I was able to find new rubber for the windshields and wing windows. At the time, I could not find the rear window seals, so I ended up masking those with plans to replace them down the road. I was able to locate some later on, but did not purchase them. What I have not been able to find are parts for the door windows, such as the channel felt. I got one piece of OEM channel but ended up ruining it as I did not know how to bend it, so chalk that up as a $50 lesson.

Keep in mind that there are a number of parts that cross over to the F series trucks, such as door handles, locks, window cranks, etc., but one thing to keep in mind when crossing part numbers is to look at the 57 to early 60's F series, as this is when the C series was developed and the parts will match up to those years. In my case, the 1964 F series parts were not the same as my c series, but the 57-61 parts were.

You need to go online and purchase the CD based Ford Master Parts and Accessory guide. This will give you the OEM part numbers for everything on the truck. The best and most reasonable source for NOS Ford truck parts that I have found is Green Sales in Ohio. When you go on their website, you can type in the part number and it will let you know if they have it in stock. You can then call them for a price. They get new parts in all the time, so just because they don't have it today doesn't mean it wont be in stock next week.

If anyone has experience with other NOS suppliers, please let us know, because I know there are many more peices that I will be looking for in the future.

Thanks for the great info

I will have to look that site up and bookmark it.

Unfortunatly work on the truck wont start for a coupla weeks. I have to go to vermont and take the new baby boy to see grandma lol.

I think first thing on the aganda is a good steam cleaning. I am thinking of lightly steaming the cab out to as it is full of mouse poo and stinks something horible. Im pretty affraid of lyme disease also.

Next will be working on brakes and clutch hydraulics.

then trying to get her running.

I will keep posting as work continues

At least 75% of my 34,000+ posts have obsolete part numbers typed in them, cuz this is the major thing I do here on FTE.
How many NOS parts suppliers would you like? There are 10's of 1000's when you consider all the FoMoCo Dealers that still have stuff. There are at least...50 well known obsolete parts vendors.

Green Sales has the largest stock, Dennis Carpenter the second largest stock.

The 1973/79 Ford Heavy Truck Parts Catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com / Hipo has other car/truck parts catalogs that cover 1948/89.

2) C3TZ-9121550-A .. Door Window Glass Channel Weatherstrip-R/L is the same / Obsolete

BELL-MCCALL MOTOR CO. in Hamilton MT has ONE = 406-363-2011.

No other Ford Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.

This comes as a straight piece, has to be bent. It fits on the inside rear of the door, then curves over the top of the glass to the division bar.

2) B7T-9142042-A .. Quarter Glass Weatherstrip-R/L is the same / Obsolete

KOVATCH FORD in Nesquehoning PA has ONE = 570-669-5118.

No other Ford Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.
------------------------------------------------------
D3HZ-6042084-A (replaced B7T-9142084-A) .. Back Glass Weatherstrip / Obsolete

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Door glass w/strips: There are inner/outer "cat whiskers" / division bar w/strips-front...at vent window. Any interest in these puppies?

Something to consider when you are typing Ford part numbers into websites. Is the part number still viable...or not?

FoMoCo is in-famous for replacing 10's of 1000's of part numbers every year!

If you don't have O-S-I (Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange) Catalogs to verify the number, you may be lookin' for something that Ford replaced eons ago.
