SO after I installed the lift last week i noticed that the tires rub a littl ebi ton the body under full compression in a turn. When i swapped the kit the guy that i got it from had 1' blocks in the front. They were notched and everything so they couldnt slip out. But i did not put those back in because its not too safe to block the front.
Whats your opinion on this? should I block the front to clear the tires.. or hammer away the lower corners of the body to clear the tires? either way i know the tire size is too big but i cannot fix that right now
Blocks or body hammer? I know it's not a popular answer, but I would go with the blocks as a temporary measure. You swapped suspension with another truck and I am assuming the blocks didn't catastrophically fail on the other truck.
Yeah i swapped my stock suspension for the lift and tires.. nothing was wrong with the blocks (other than the front bieng higher than the rear) I called rough country and they said NO WAY , that it is too dangerous to put blocks on a steering axle. I was thinking about switching the stock 2 inch F250 blocks out for the 4 inch F350 blocks and adding the 1 inch block in the front.. this way the rear will be higher than the front.
