what are the differences between f-150 coils and f-250 coils?

For what years? F-250's used leaf springs on 4wd trucks.

sorry bout that..................i had a brain fart man. what i mean is, what are the differences between reg cab f-150 coils and x-cab f-150 coils?

coil differences?????

Extended cab coils have three more coils than does a reg. cab. Ext. cab coils also are progressive rate ( the extra coils are concentrated on one end of the spring). Ext cab coils can be installed on reg. cab pickups with no problems.

do they give more lift on a reg cab?

coil differences?????

Umm, I never actually measured mine before and after but I think it brought it up some. My coils were getting pretty saggy tho. If your looking for a true level appearance then these won't quite get the job done. It definately gives it the "as new" stance but not perfectly level front to back. You'd probably have to go to a different leveling spring to get the job done if this is what your after.
