I noticed.....I was there in all of 96' most of 97' and again in 98'. The US NATO mission was peace keeping (baby sitting) and were not actively searching ("under NATO") for war criminals. We all knew who the top 5 were but never encountered the bulk. I am glad the old fudger is caught. Hopefully they will still treat him as if it were yesterday when these crimes were committed yesterday...not like "well he is old now".
A lot has happened since then (in relation to Americans and post 911). I hope the "Hague", Belgium deals with him accordingly. I think most people are thinking of other fish to fry closer to home.
I am glad he is gone....unfortunately in 1000 years from now some little kid is gonna cut through the woods to go fishing and get ZAPPED by a mine. That is a real tragedy, imo.
