fuel system questions
My truck is a 1990 F250 w/ the 5.0 and a 5 speed manual. My parts truck is a '92 w/ the 5.8 and automatic. I've already plucked the 5.8, just waiting for the flywheel to show up so I can start the swap. I'm assuming that both trucks have the SD type system as I don't see a MAF on either one? Besides the firing order being different, which I'll fix using an injector harness and 'puter from a 5.8/manual truck, are there any other pitfalls to be aware of?
I'd love to use some Lightning headers but the funds aren't there at this time, I just want to get the truck up and running with no issues as quickly as possible.
Thanks for any help.

DON'T you dare swap to an automatic!!!!! You'll get better MPGs and the autos just don't give you the same amount of power to the ground. Besides if it's a firewood hauler like your sn suggests it's not a DD. Others on this site would kill to get their hands on a good running ZF to replace their aod's and e40d's.
PS: what saw(s) are you running for wood cutting?

The SN isn't a 100% accurate description of the truck, but it's not exactly a beauty queen either. No rust at all and pretty much stock, I just use it for occasional trailer towing, trips to the landscaping supply company, dump runs and stuff like that. When it snows I don't even bother digging out my Camry, I just jump into the truck and drive out of the snow bank and go where I need to be.
