I have a 1993 F150 4x4 and I just replaced the master cylinder. The ports are larger than the fitting for a 3/16 line. The rear port has the proportioning valve for the rear brakes and I'm good there. But, can anyone tell me if there is a special brake line I'm supposed to use for the front brakes? I've tried using an adapter fitting that I think is 7/16 down to 3/16, but it leaking.
The smart thing would have been to hold on to the old brake line and take it to the auto parts store, but I started this project in the fall and now that I am getting around to completing it I have discovered that I have misplaced that old brake line.
