Frame Question

Hey guys its been a while since I have posted. I have a quick question. How much differences are there between frames from an 89 f250ex cab long box and an 86 f150 reg cab long box. Right now my driver is the 89 and I have the frame from my 86 that I was going to do a ground up on. I am now wanting to put the ex cab on the 86 frame and put a short box on it. Now I know there is going to be differences and I can handle that. Does anyone know the difference in length for the frame from a reg cab long box to an ex cab short box?

I think the two in question are the same length. Just different mount points. Toss a tape on the two, they will tell you lol...

Well, the wheelbase on the regular cab eight-foot bed is 133", where the supercab shortbed is 138". I'd wager that the extra five inches is somewhere between where the regular cab would end and the six-foot bed begins.
