I have an 86 f250 4x4 with 6.9 in it I was taking apart my manual locking hubs and I remembered I don't have to take out the center screw when I pull the hub off so I went to tighten the screw back up and the plastic piece that reminds me of a piece inside a pen stripped on me I was wondering if anyone has one or knows where to buy one without buying a rebuild kit... It's the piece that that pulls and releases the gear that locks the hubs
Local junkyards only have 2 wheel drive that year and the screw hole I am talking about is if you are looking at an assembled hub the screw right in the middle of your hub the goes through the switch and tightens into a round piece that reminds me of the inside of a Pen
I do but I can't figure how to post them I am on my iPhone but looking at the peice it is grey little bigger than an inch and a half diameter about 3/4 of an inch tall for the main part then it has a smaller circle ontop that has a pentagon shape that fits into the back of the lockout switch it also has 3 I would call them ramps around the main cylinder that when turned is what locks the hubs in and out

Which is why you should grab spares when you find them...
All parts between the red indicators come together as a kit from Ford (I have no idea about aftermarket).
