Just bought an 05'. What Now?
I am new to Ford turcks. I just bought a 05' F250 crew cab Lariate edition, diesel with 34K miles. What do I need to be looking for as far as things that could go wrong. Anything I need to look at replacing? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the SD world.
A good place to start is spend some time in the 6.0l section of the forum and learn some stuff about the 6.0l. You can to the tech folder at the top of this section and the 6.0l section and read manuals ans tuturals on how to do stuff find out what some stuff mentioned is.
You can gonto the dealership and ask for an oasis report. That will tell you what warranty issues the trucks has had and what was done about it. Really the only thing that sticks out right now in my mind is the low miles. It hasn't been driven much leaving it to sit a lot. The vgt turbos really don't like to be sidelined. The way they work the more boost needed the vains slide out and can get caked up with carbon and have a rusting effect on the vains sticking them. The same can be said about the egr valve. But egr valve troubles "usually" come from a lot of ideling. The carbon gets built up on the valve and sticking it shut.
