1987 f-250

i am looking for a new dd and dont have alot of money to play with so i found a 1987 f-250 4x4 carbed 460 4-speed. is this a good reliable truck, other than having to get gas every couple miles. i wanted a carb truck to get away from the electronics but from what i found it has just as many sensors as some of the newer ones, but i need something reliable to use as a dd, haul wood/coal and pull my camper about 2 hrs trough the hills of pa.

Many people ask this question and the end result is that EFI is always gonna be more efficient in the long run

The EFI's are harder on gas though....

The 460 is defenetly a good reliable work horse, but you said you didn't have alot of money...... not a good idea getting a 4 speed 460 with these gas prices!
