TIME will make reproducing these parts more economical. Give it 40 years and then repost the "new cab" request. Ford made them too well and sold way too many of them, good and bad problem to have. I think the 78-79 Bronco would be much more desirable to repop a body than a regular cab, give that thought another 20 years though.

Is DC still saying that? Ridiculous. I agree with the lariat door panel inserts with the wood trim. We need these!

I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet but I would love to see a replacement part for the saddle fuel tank shroud. This would be for the "Front" fuel tanks on the 78-79 Ford trucks with dual tanks.

FE engine rear sump oil pans. They only have $$ aftermarket ones. The cheapest is $260 canton.
An actual made for highboy rear in frame gas tank, not the $500+ Aero one, something people can actually afford.
Agree with the need of quality sheetmetal.
Also how about some fan shrouds?

Vinyl/woodgrain door panel inserts.
Factory air cleaners. Dont want my air filter open to the dirt/oil/water of the open engine compartment.
Updated and more effeciently designed ac compressors & ccot updates as well.
NEW Ford 2V Carburetors. The remans are now just shells of the originals.
Affordable, less than $30, dual tank valves.
Affordable, $120 say, remanned factory radios.
Affordable, $250 or less, tailgates. Who doesnt need a better tailgate?
Affordable, $ 75 or so, 73-77 standard & woodgrain hornbuttons. How many Dents need hornbuttons?
Opened up, Extrude Honed, factory manifolds. Okay, that is just a fetish of mine. I love faking out the locals with some trick parts and opening up the old FEs would help with fuel mileage too.

ABSOLUTELY NEEDED:
78-79 Factory Alloy Wheels & Accessories
78-79 Factory Push Bar
Affordable Fan Shrouds

Thanks to the guys for pointing out the repopped in-cab tank. Been looking for that for a while.

There, i'll stop for now...

It's not OE but I would like to see some aftermarket park and tail lights (LED, euro, ect). The OE lights can be very, very dim. I know there would be a market for these!!

There is a headlight upgrade that helps the brightness of the lights. It doesn't matter if you swap in some fancy lights(aside from led) they won't be any brighter. The factory wiring puts a heavy load on the switch. The fix is to put a relay between lights and switch so the relays take the load. Do a search on this forum for "headlight upgrade" and you'll find how to do it with diagrams. It's super cheap too.

I know this, after all, I made the diagram on that thread . The lenses on my truck are very thick, and filter the light to the point it's hard to see brake lights in the daylight, and the design over-defuses the light on the tail lights especially. Plus I think done the right way, some aftermarket park, tail and side-marker lighting would look pretty good!

Haha. The thread's been done so many times over the years. I ***-u-me-d you didn't know with the low posts. We all know where that gets us. I agree we could use some new lenses/lights.
