Question Mirror interchange

Hello,

I have an 1988 F-250. I will be using it for my Landscaping business and will be having the truck lettered.

I have the old style mirrors with the bracket that mounts with four screws (two top and two bottom)

I would like to go to the newer style mirror of the 1992 and up trucks. This way I will have more room for my logo on the door.

Will they fit the same two top holes? Will I have to fill all four and drill new ones?

Thanks
Adam

I just did it - look at these pics and read the captions. You can do it without changing the door panels, but you'll have to pull some wires across the dash & figure out where to put the joystick.

I have manual mirrors. I will not have to deal with wires. Do any of the new style mirrors have manual adjustment.

I am not looking foreward to filling those holes.

Yes, you can get mirrors that look just like those that are manual. I'm thinking about putting blinkers there like some imports have. I hate bodywork.
