Does any1 have the banks six gun bundle in a 6.4L? and how is it?
senix has a banks 6 gun bundle on his truck and likes it. I'm not much of a fan of "off the shelf tunes", nor am I a fan of Banks specifically. Overly priced for what you get. The only possible exception that could be to that would be the intercooler, but even that is still high priced, but price for the product is more inline to what you get.
I would actually get the Spartan Phalanx Tuner (which I use on my 6.0) for the 6.4 than the Banks. More bang for your buck. Same price range, but you do get more with the Phalanx.
I am currently running the Banks bundle on my 08 6.4 and I like the power it provides. I am however removing it and will probably get the Spartan or the SCT because the Banks won't remove the regen. If your going to leave the DPF on your truck, then I thinks it great. I will be selling my Six Gun for 400.00
Hello I was wondering if there was someone on here that could help me out with this. I am a new owner of a 6.4 and it came to me with the banks sixgun kit and intake. I was wondering if this kit does more actual harm than good. I went on the banks website to try to get some more info but just talks about hp. I'm trying to keep the truck as stock as possible. Thanks in Advance
It worked well on mine, emissions friendly and will pass the emissions test if needed. It does not alter the factory programming so it will still have all the safety features for the ford programming.
I ran it for 5 years on my 6.4 before trading up to a DRW.
I just bought a 2008 6.4L with 165,000 the truck is beautiful wheels tires 4inch lift lots of aftermarket parts but the motor is bone stock has a problem with white smoke once in a while runs fine not missing or anything please help
that white smoke is probably during the regen cycle. Sometimes the exhaust is not so hot when the cycle starts then as it goes through the cycle it clears up. Happens more when cold.
