senix has a banks 6 gun bundle on his truck and likes it. I'm not much of a fan of "off the shelf tunes", nor am I a fan of Banks specifically. Overly priced for what you get. The only possible exception that could be to that would be the intercooler, but even that is still high priced, but price for the product is more inline to what you get.

I would actually get the Spartan Phalanx Tuner (which I use on my 6.0) for the 6.4 than the Banks. More bang for your buck. Same price range, but you do get more with the Phalanx.

Use I do get along good with my 6-gun. What I like about it is way it works with the emissions components. I does eck out about 1-1.5 in mpgs for me.

May or may not for someone else. I does give somemore power, not hugh amounts.

For me it works, plus since I am more conservative and tow heavy I am more about being closer to stock specs.

Someday when out of warrenty I may say otherwise.

Custom tunes can do a little more for you than off the shelf tuning. No matter how conservative you are.

I don't tow heavy all that much, ~16k. I'm a lightweight.

6.4 is kinda a little different animal than the 6.0, but I get what you are saying.

I am currently running the Banks bundle on my 08 6.4 and I like the power it provides. I am however removing it and will probably get the Spartan or the SCT because the Banks won't remove the regen. If your going to leave the DPF on your truck, then I thinks it great. I will be selling my Six Gun for 400.00

Hello I was wondering if there was someone on here that could help me out with this. I am a new owner of a 6.4 and it came to me with the banks sixgun kit and intake. I was wondering if this kit does more actual harm than good. I went on the banks website to try to get some more info but just talks about hp. I'm trying to keep the truck as stock as possible. Thanks in Advance

It worked well on mine, emissions friendly and will pass the emissions test if needed. It does not alter the factory programming so it will still have all the safety features for the ford programming.

I ran it for 5 years on my 6.4 before trading up to a DRW.

that white smoke is probably during the regen cycle. Sometimes the exhaust is not so hot when the cycle starts then as it goes through the cycle it clears up. Happens more when cold.

Tex, I'm deleted, would the banks your removing work for me? What does it actually do in terms of better performance? Interested in it.
