Regarding my earlier post, I ended up having to replace those tires about 900 miles from home. I wanted the new ones balanced which they did. The rest of the trip was great. Once I got home, I went to my local tire store that I do a lot of business with and commented on all the wheel weights that were on my stamped steel rims. He told me that the tolerances on stamped steel welded wheels vary widely. I had one wheel with a visible wobble in it. I purchased a new set of machined aluminum wheels and had the tires rebalanced.
Is it possible to tell if you have broken belts in tires? I had them balanced by a local shop but they didn't pick up on anything. When we leave next week I will see if everything is smooth again while tires are cold.
Well its better now with balanced tires but still there a little. I think what i'll do is run the tires for as long as possible and then buy new wheels and tires. Maybe just tires if the wheels balance ok by themselves. Thanks for everyones help.
By the way Senix, I now have about 2000 miles on the trailer and tires are still wore perfectly so i think the alignment deal is ok. Good idea though and i'll definitely keep and eye out for this issue.
