2.5 in earlier Ranger??
IF what i've heard is correct a 2.5 is for the most part a bored 2.3..... any reason you can't replace a 2.3 with a 2.5?? I can pick up a '99 2.5 with low milage CHEAP. My 2.3 is doing fine at the time, just thinking on down the road.
