Transmission Issues

Anyone still seeing the transmission issues after TSB 4-21-11 was applied to their truck. Had mine flashed three weeks ago and still acting up with erractic shifting. Wondering if anyone else is seeing this.

I've only got 900 miles on mine, but zero shifting issues. I wish it would downshift a little faster when coming to a stop and the light turns back green, but even that's getting better with more miles.

Yes I have had lot's of issues with mine it's been at the dealer for all of last week and now they told me today they will need it most if not all of this week. They have been in contact with Ford on the issues I am having I will repost when I know something definate. They orderd a EGR cooler last week and that was installed today so I will know more tomorrow. But the issues were shifting, drivability concerns, poor fuel millage and Re gen every 30-50 miles they don't have a clue whats wrong but I am hopeful they will get it. I own a Auto Repair Shop and I am smarter then they think they have tried to fill me with the brown stuff but that won't happen.

We have had 1 trans fail on a 550 service truck official cause was over use of PTO and that was not covered under warranty! Ford says the trucks are not designed to handle extreme PTO use and that causes a thrust washer in the trans to fail. So we now are trying to figure this out as most of our trucks that had PTO's were 6 speed units and never had any issues.

Ford hotline told my dealer that to replace the transmission silenoids on my transmission to see if that fixes the problem. Is going in first part of next week to have this done.

Just got back from the dealer took my salesman for a ride to show him what was going on. Then we took a new one for a drive and could not get it to do it. So there is definetly something wrong. We talked to the GM he is going to get a rep here next week along with an engineer to try to get them to buy it back

i'm also having trans issues..the going into neutral for a couple seconds/the "i can't decide what gear to go into when i'm cold" issues. and of course when i took mine to the dealer they said that they couldn't get it to do what I was telling them it was doing..BS! my truck also has the surging cruise control problem.. and now when I put on the brakes it has a slight pull to the right..I love this truck.. but this is not the quality I would expect from a Ford.. especially a $50000 Ford...my old 90 F250 was more reliable than this heap..from all that i've been reading on here, i'm starting to wonder if I should've bought a RAM, but they are so ugly..

I also talked with my salesman and general manager this is my 3rd new truck in 3 years so told them they have 30 days to have it fixed or will be buying it back. They agreed to it and said maybe we could order you a 12 and trade you straight across if it keeps your business with us.
