TC lock in 2nd possible?
Workign with KEM performance to re teach my R5 to think a little better more like a Automated Manual. I have asked for Programming to lock 2-OD or 3-OD. Only issue is it is custom programming and KEM will need my rig for a day or two.
This mod should be complete by Mid July, check back later for results.
I have been trying to hookup with KEM since Christmas last year but due to schedules ( Both sides) we have not made it yet. Next target is July at Petersburg VA.
What I am looking for is shifting based on Torque deman and power deman plus less unlock time to make the truck more fuel efficent. This is not a drag racer or a Comp puller, just a daily driver and RV hauler. One thought is to use an external input to shift in the T/H mod ( I.E. hand shift)
I am pretty sure that when all is said and done I will need a better Torque Converter may be a Sun Coast multi clutch unit.....
